Solution

CO2 laser cutting machine can not work out of light (routine check)

Question describe: Laser cutting machine work process does not shoot laser, can not cut off the material.
The reason are as follows:

1. The laser switch of the machine is not turned on
2. Laser power setting error
Check whether the laser power is set incorrectly, the minimum power to ensure that more than 10%, too low power settings may lead to the machine can not be light.
3. Focal length is not adjusted well
Check whether the machine has been correctly focused, the laser head is too far away from the material will greatly weaken the laser energy, the phenomenon of "no light".

4. The optical path is shifted

Check whether the machine optical path is offset, resulting in the laser head does not light, readjust the optical path.

Exclude malfunction of fiber laser marking machine

Malfunction 1
The laser does not supply power and the fan does not turn (Prerequisites: open the Switching power supply,Light on,Power supply wired correctly )

1. For 20W 30W machine, the switching power supply requires a voltage of 24V and a current of ≥8A.
2. For ≥ 50W 60W machine, switching power supply requires 24V voltage, switching power supply power > 7 times the laser output optical power (such as 60W machine requires switching power supply power > 420W)  
3. Replace the power supply or marking machine table, if the power supply is still not available, please contact our technicians as soon as possible.

Malfunction 2

Fiber lasers do not emit light(Prerequisites:Laser fan turns, optical path is not blocked, 12 seconds after power on )
1. Please make sure whether the software settings are correct. JCZ laser source type select“fiber”, fiber type select“IPG”.
2. Please confirm whether the software alarm, if the alarm, check the solution of "software alarm" fault;
3. Please check whether external devices are properly connected and loose (25-pin signal cable, board card, USB cable);
4. Please check whether the parameters are suitable, try to use 100%, power mark.
5. Measure the 24 V switching power supply with a multimeter and compare the voltage difference under power on and 100% light out, if there is a voltage difference but the laser does not produce light, please contact our technical staff as soon as possible.

Malfunction 3

Laser marking JCZ software alarm
1.“Fiber laser system malfunction” → The laser is not powered up → Checking the power supply and the connections between the power cord and the laser; 
2. “IPG Laser Reserved!” → 25-pin signal cable not connected or loose → Reinserting or replacing the signal cable;
3. “unable to find the encryption dog! The software will work in demo mode” → ①Board driver not installed; ②The board is not powered on, re-energized; ③USB cable is not connected, replace the computer rear USB socket or replace the USB cable; ④Mismatch between the board and the software;   
4. “Current LMC card does not support this fiber laser” → Mismatch between the board and the software;  → Please use the software provided by the board supplier;   
5. “Can not found LMG card’’ → USB cable connection failure, USB port power supply is insufficient → Replace the computer rear USB socket or replace the USB cable;
6.  “Fiber laser temperature is too high” →Laser heat dissipation channel blocked, clean air ducts; Requires power on sequence: first board power, then laser power; The required operating temperature range 0-40 ℃; If the light is normal, use the exclusion method, replace the external accessories (board, power supply, signal cable, USB cable, computer); If the light is not normal, please contact with our technical staff as soon as possible.

Malfunction 4

Fiber Laser Marking Machine. Laser power is low (insufficient) Prerequisite: power meter is normal, align the laser output head test.
1. Please confirm whether the laser output head lens is contaminated or damaged;
2. Please confirm the test power parameters 100%;
3. Please confirm that the external equipment is normal (25-pin signal cable, control card card);
4. Please confirm whether the field mirror lens is polluted or damaged; if it is still low power, please contact our technical staff as soon as possible.

Malfunction 5

Fiber MOPA laser marking machine control (JCZ) software without "pulse width" Prerequisite: control card and software are both high version, with adjustable pulse width function.Setting method: “Configuration parameters” → “laser control” →select“Fiber”→ select  “IPG YLPM” → tick the "Enable Pulse Width Setting" .

Exclude malfunction of UV laser marking machine

Malfunction 1

UV laser marking machine laser without laser(Prerequisites:Cooling water tank temperature 25℃, water level and water flow normal)
1. Please make sure that the laser button is turned on and the laser light is illuminated.
2. Please confirm whether the 12V power supply is normal, use a multimeter to measure the 12V switching power supply.
3. Connect the RS232 data cable, open the UV laser internal control software, troubleshoot and contact our technicians.
 

Malfunction 2

UV laser marking machine laser power is low (insufficient).
1. Please confirm whether the 12V power supply is normal, and use a multimeter to measure whether the 12V switching power supply output voltage reaches 12V in the case of marking out light.
2. Please confirm whether the laser spot is normal, the normal spot is round, when the power becomes weak, there will be a hollow spot, the color of the spot becomes weak, etc.
3. Connect the RS232 data cable, open the UV laser internal control software, troubleshoot and contact our technicians.

Malfunction 3

UV laser marking machine marking is not clear.
1. Please make sure that the text graphics and software parameters are normal.
2. Please make sure that the laser focus is at the correct laser focus.
3. Please make sure that the field mirror lens is not contaminated or damaged.
4. Please make sure that the oscillator lens is not delaminated, contaminated, or damaged.

Malfunction 4

UV laser marking machine system water chiller alarm.
1. Check whether the laser system chiller inside the circulating water has been filled, both sides of the filter whether there is dust blocked, clean up to see if it can be restored to normal.
2. Whether the pump's suction pipe deviates from the phenomenon leading to abnormal pumping, or the pump itself is stuck and does not turn or the coil short-circuit fault and bad capacitor.
3. Check the water temperature to see if the compressor is working properly for cooling.
